In the intimate setting of a walled, roofed garden nestled in Dublin 7, a fire shall be burning, candles and lights shall be twinkling and the cool, crisp winter’s chill shall be offset by the heat of a smouldering wood oven, ready for toasting gingerbread marshmallows as cocktails are served.
On Sunday 20th December, Kate Packwood of Wildflour Bakery shall be hosting a Christmas tea party of wonder and delight, an afternoon tea that will thrill and enrapture.
Within the intimate secret garden setting situated at the super cool Fish Shop in Smithfield, the traditional afternoon tea shall be a jumping off point for an exploration of flavour, featuring festive treats such as:
- “Milk & Cookies” : 70% dark Chocolate, cayenne & smoked sea salt cookies with glass of raw milk laced with Laphroaig
- Fig scones with freshly churned Armagnac butter, clementine marmalade and sea salt caramel
- 80% dark chocolate soda bread topped with foie gras, dark cherries and star anise.
